On November 11 everyone is invited to take part in annual torchlight procession in honour of fallen soldiers. It is planned to meet at 18.00 at Ikšķile Secondary School and go together to Ikšķile Old Cemetery, where fallen Latvian Riflemen are buried. The objective of the Project Iron Curtain Trail 13 is to develop a new Euro Velo cycling route in Latvia. The Project was launched in 2011 and now funding for its continuation in 2012 has been approved.
